Top-end Samsung Galaxy S10 Mobile to Come With 5G Connectivity

Introduction

The South Korean giant Samsung is all set to add the latest Galaxy S10 to its staple shortly. The company is rumored to bring a fourth variant model that sports six camera sensors and have 5G connectivity in an event in the early next year. According to the people who are in the know-how of product development, this model will have the largest screen size of 6.7 inches. The flagship model is expected to hit the global market with Exynos 9820 SoC. However, the company could use its next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC processor in the model for the US market.

Codenamed Beyond X, this flagship model is going to have two front-end cameras and four rear-end cameras. The 5G connectivity is going to be limited to this 6.7-inch display model. This code name has reference to the Apple’s iPhone X that was rolled out as its 10th-anniversary offer. Prior to this launch, Samsung had come out with Galaxy A9 in India with a quadruple rear camera. It would be interesting to see what all features this flagship model will sport when it is launched in an event sometime in the middle of February 2019. Since the company’s discussions with Verizon have graduated to the advanced level, the 5G model would be limited to the Verizon subscribers initially. Other carriers with whom Samsung has talked to for the distribution of this latest model are AT&T and T-Mobile. The availability of 5G support, the sporting of 6 camera sensors and larger display are some of the features that got the public attention, Anyhow, there would be more features that endear the customers. These features are expected to give an edge over the Cupertino giant model iPhone10. According to the sources, the Intel is likely to be the modem maker for enabling 5G support in future iPhone models.

Alongside this top-of-the-line model, the company is planning to bring three other models that are codenamed internally as “Beyond 0″, “Beyond 1″, and Beyond 2″. These models are rumored to sport three to five cameras in total. The South Korean company plans to introduce a”reverse wireless charging” feature that could help users charge their wireless charging-enabled devices. Moreover, it is expected that the three Galaxy S10 variants will debut at the February event, though the 5G model could be the showstopper. The event would also see the rolling out of the company first foldable phone. Samsung has chosen to call this as Infinity Flex Display.
